Happy Birthday Eta Kappa!

It has been twenty yeard since the Eta Kappa Chapter of Alpha Delta Pi was founded at Cal State San Bernardino. I am so glad to able to call myself a member of the first sorority EVER in history! During my college years, it was my <> sisters <> that got me through everything! I made so many amazing friends and have so many amazing memories! Last Saturday Eta Kappa had a great anniversary dinner at the Canyon Crest Country Club in Riverside. So many sisters came out to celebrate. There were appetizers and drinks, dinner and dancing. I even got to sing the blessing! Stephen didn't go, so I missed him, but it was fun to enjoy a girl's night out!!!

Backyard

Well, needless to say, things have been pretty hectic here at the Moore household! Stephen has decided to completely remodel our backyard during his break from work....He tore out a lot of our grass, and is adding a patio, RV parking, a brick wall, built in BBQ and firepit! He has also purchased a spa, which will be nice! This whole thing will be so great when it is finished, but the contruction is starting to take its toll on my patience! The project should be done some time next week (fingers crossed). We will have to have a nice BBQ to celebrate! Here are a few pictures of the ongoing construction.

Spring Break

Our spring break was very relaxing to say the least! The Monday after Easter Stephen and I decided to head to the lake to do some maintanance on the boat and get it all ready for summer. We had satellite radio installed and got it all washed and ready to go. We went out on the lake for a few hours and enjoyed a little bit of sunshine! The water was only 55 degrees, so we just kind of floated around. I was brave enough to get in once, for about 10 seconds, but I quickly realized that that was a bad idea! I thought I was going to die of hypothermia!!!

We stayed at Sams Town off the strip in Vegas and were fortunate enough to be upgraded to the penthouse suite! It cost us less than $100 for both nights and we got to stay in a sweet room with 2 flat screen plasma TV's, a jacuzzi, a seperate living, dining, and bedroom...it was amazing! We also went to Disneyland, and then Stephen got sick so he played a lot of video games and I finally finished our wedding scrapbook (almost three years later). Now it is back to work (for me at least) for 11 more weeks!
