For Halloween this year, we went to Kyle and Kirstin’s house to celebrate Kyle’s birthday. We all enjoyed some delicious pizza, then got the young’ins all dressed up and headed out for trick or treating.
We only made it to two houses: Shawn and Kelly’s, and Danny and Jennifer’s. Jennifer was nice enough to buy Seth a box of fruit snacks, so I didn’t have to hide a bunch of candy from him. Seth lost more and more of his costume as the night went on.
He usually loves wearing his hat and boots, but of course on Halloween, he wanted nothing to do with them.
Natalie was a major grump for some reason. She wanted nothing to do with anything the entire night.
After our brief bout of trick or treating, we headed back to help hand out candy. Seth really enjoyed watching all the kids walk up in their costumes. He also played with Daddy’s flashlight for hours. Overall, the night was a success.
Stephen and I were married on July 9, 2005. We spent a few years traveling before adding to our precious family Seth Allen was born on April 15, 2010. Our lives will never be the same. We find so much joy in watching him grow and change every day.
